Mockingbird Invitational Fall Tournament:
Volunteer Update
The Mockingbird Invitational is right around the corner and we are anxious to host another great weekend of soccer at the Bullitt Estates. MVSC management would like to inform all parents that volunteer hours, jobs and details will be available to sign up for ONCE GAME SCHEDULES HAVE BEEN RELEASED for the Mockingbird Invitational. We understand that all parents will want to watch their children participate in MVSC's own tournament and we do not expect anyone to sign up to volunteer before knowing what time their child will play.
We will post a link to our volunteer registration webpage on the home page of the MVSC website (www.mockingbirdsoccer.net) as well as on the Select page. Thank you in advanced for your patience and we look forward to seeing everyone at the fields!
The MVSC Soccer Player:
The MVSC Soccer Player is someone that continues to push him or herself when no one else is watching. They are inspired through personal motivation and their strength is derived from the willingness to always be the best.
The MVSC player is someone who knows the importance of preparation and strives to always maintain a level of commitment to the game. Through this preparation the MVSC player exudes confidence in his/her play.
The MVSC player is someone who doesn’t take short cuts. He/she is an honest player and strives to do everything right all the time. When teammates aren’t willing to make the appropriate sacrifices in order to be successful the MVSC player pulls them in and sets them straight.
The MVSC player takes tremendous pride in wearing the MVSC uniform. He/she understands that wearing the uniform is a privilege and that they must adhere to the qualities set forth by those before them. When an MVSC player takes the field wearing the MVSC colors he/she doesn’t expect to win they know they are going to win. They carry themselves in a manner for which only winners can. After all, he/she is an MVSC Soccer Player.
