Season 1: October 25th - December 21st

Registration opens: December 2nd (56 Team Capacity)

Teams registered in Season 1 in good standing have guaranteed pre-registration option for Season 2

Team FEE: $875

There are a limited number of teams we can accept into the league based on field space and game day availability. Once we reach that number, registration will automatically close and we will not be able to accept any more teams. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

LEAGUE INFO:

Each season lasts 8 weeks.

Each team plays 6 full games, plus each team has one week off (BYE week) at some point in the season.
Week 8 is a mini-tournament for all teams.
There will be no games over Thanksgiving weekend (11/29-11/30).

Game Schedule:

Games are on Friday nights and Saturday late afternoons and nights.
Most girls' teams play on Fridays.
Most boys' teams play on Saturdays.
A few games might be scheduled on the opposite night depending on field availability and scheduling requests.
Schedule/BYE week requests: make all requests during registration or via email by October 16th. We will take all requests into consideration, however they are not guaranteed.

Division INFORMATION:

There are typically 2-3 girls' divisions and 3-5 boys' divisions.
Divisions are based on age, size, and skill level, not strictly JV or Varsity.
We reserve the right to move teams to different divisions after the first game to ensure balanced competition.

Division Placement:

White: Generally for JV-level players.
Gold: Generally for Varsity-level players.
Premier: Typically for club/select soccer players.

We consider both skill level and physical size when deciding which division is best for each team.

REGISTRATION

Team Registration: Your coach or team parent needs to register the team online. During registration you'll need your team name, jersey/shirt color, and the initial deposit paid ($275).
Waivers & Roster: After registering, print the Waiver and Roster form. Each player's parent/guardian must sign a waiver. You can submit them individually or as a team. Rosters and waivers are due at the first game.

PAYMENTS

All payments are made online by the coach/team parent.
You can pay in full or choose an installment plan during registration.
Installment plans automatically split the fee into weekly payments.
Players pay their portion to the coach/team parent, not directly to Mockingbird.

LEAGUE RULES

Team Size: Maximum 16 players per team, minimum of 8 players. Consider splitting into two teams if you have more than 16.
Age: Players must be 13-18 years old. Only players currently enrolled in high school are allowed to participate. We may ask for school ID. Players in 8th grade are allowed to play but only after MVSC approval. Player safety is of great importance.
Adult Supervision: A coach or team parent must be present on the sidelines for every game.
Team Gear: All players must wear matching color shirts/jerseys and shin guards covered by socks. Flat-soled soccer or tennis shoes only (no cleats). Bring an alternate color in case of a color clash. The second team on the schedule must change if colors match.
